UG Teaching Programme

Theory lectures (30) – 15 each, during 6th and 7th semester.

Clinical posting (two weeks during 3rd and four weeks during 5th semester).

Record Book: 1 case each of Skin, S.T.D & Leprosy in the record book of general medicine in which certificate of satisfactory completion of all clinical postings is also entered.

Internal Assessment is done at the end of Clinical Postings with a practical examination (20 marks) comprising of two clinical cases at two stations and viva at the third.

Final Assessment: In section B of paper II of General Medicine, comprises of one short answer question of 3 marks each of Dermatology, Venereology & Leprosy (Total marks 9).

The MBBS internship includes 2 weeks of practical training.
