The Department of Medical Gastroenterology offers specialized training in the diagnosis and treatment of digestive system disorders. Students receive comprehensive training in endoscopic procedures, diagnostic tests and the management of gastrointestinal diseases, supported by expert faculty and advanced technology.

The Department faculty and residents take care of OPD patients after registration at the OPD reception. Separate consultation rooms are allotted for consultants and residents.
The Advanced Endoscopy Theatre of the Medical Gastroenterology Department is situated on the Ground floor, Hi-tech building. It is fully equipped with advanced endoscopic and fluoroscopic gadgets. The following procedures are done in the OT:
