Recent Events and Achievements
  1. Dept of Obstetrics & Gynaecology held a Hysteroscopy Training Module with Hands-On Workshop (Second Intermediary). Dr. Milind Telang from Galaxy Care Hospital-Pune, a world-renowned expert in hysteroscopy, was the chief operating faculty and course director of this module. Dr. Meenal Patvekar, Prof. Dept. of Obstetrics & Gynecology, served as the Organizing Secretary and Internal Faculty for the event. A total of 20 participants, with defined criteria of medical education and work experience, attended from Pune.
  2. Meenal Patvekar, Prof., conducted the 2nd ALSO/BLSO Course on 9th & 10th Feb. 2023 at the Skill Lab of Dr. D. Y. Patil Medical College, Hospital & Research Centre, Pimpri. The course was attended by a total of 24 participants from multidisciplinary areas, including Gynaecologists, nurses, and interns.
  3. “National Safe Motherhood Day” is celebrated on 11th April every year. The Dept. of OBGY, along with the Dept. of Community Medicine, celebrated this day by organizing a poster competition for nursing staff and students. Posters were invited until 8th April and displayed and judged on 11th April 2023 in the OPD campus.
